Once upon a time there was a young girl who after eating a lump of cheese at bedtime, feared she would miss the amazing summer ball after she has the weirdest dream. Transported to a strange world, she meets all sorts including the F’art Fairy and King F’artelot who throws her into jail. Would she ever see her friends and family again…

IMG_0682Jane has very fond and often blurred memories of the swinging sixties London where she flat-shared and partied with the not so rich and not so famous!  As an Indie Author, she enjoys writing romantic fiction, mostly with  happy endings, but with a twist or two in the tale.

Last year Jane was  highly commended for a short story competition in aid of Words for the Wounded. This evocative piece called The  Marcasite Brooch, together with more free tales can be found on the short stories page. She has also been featured in the media and on radio, click press page/links page.

Having discovered her writing voice through short story writing and inspirational mentoring, Jane has now published two novels. The most recent is  Ruby’s New Coat is a dramatic tale of romance and intrigue set in wartime Europe.   Her first Pandora’s Box, a modern love story set in Greece, also received good reviews was published in 2013 . Both are  currently available in both Kindle ,Kobo and paperback formats.

Her comments after publishing Pandora’s Box  were:  “It was very exciting to hold the first physical copy, it was almost as good as holding one’s new born for the first time.” She looks forward to the next christening and hope people enjoy her style of writing.

Jane is also a founder member of  both Chiltern Indie Authors and Chesham Writers and Scribblers who meet up at The Drawing Room Art Café  in Chesham.
